Loved their avocado fries. Have a lot of Vegetarian options and the aesthetic is really cute.

Fresh and good food. Good poutine. Nice staff.

Horrible service. Too slow. Forgot some of our order. rinks came out at separate times. One person was done their food by the time the others food arrived. Server never came for a quality check and also asked if we wanted out bills before we even received our food. The place wasn't busy either, I will never go back to this restaurant.

The food was good, however the service was a little slow but once we spoke to them to speed it up they totally did.

This applies for delivery. Burger is fine.I ordered a burger with a poutine. (For an extra $3 instead of fries)And this is what I get???Unacceptable and ridiculous. The photos show exactly how it was delivered to me.

Had a birthday here yesterday and it was amazing! Despite our large group they made not one mistake and the waiters were so great. They brought out birthday dessert and juice shots and even though we all kept switching seats they got the bills right!! The wait for the food was not long and every order was correct and good.

Great service and food. Would highly recommend.

EDIT:Have been back a couple of times, the service is super slow, and the food is mediocre. Had Eggs Benedict, flavourful sauce and ham, but the eggs were way too over cooked, the muffin was soggy.——Pretty good food, quite liked that we could quite easily get a spot on the terrace for brunch.

Ambiance, staff and menu selection are great. Food was ok... Granted it was poutine. Nice locale on the corner.

I was here this afternoon with friends the food was fine but when we ordered Espresso we had no tea spoons,instead they gave us long tooth picks. I asked the waiter why no spoons and he replied we don’t have any at the moment for some reason they disappeared.Who ever the owner is I suggest you buy them?

Maida is amazing, ask for her If ever going to eat or drink. Great food, great service, great people.

Really good!!! They make vegetarian meal taste better then meat. Please try the l’gros luxe bear with there veggie burger. Perfect combo!!!!!

Delicious food and great vibe! The service was pretty slow but one of our waitresses was on her 2nd night so it was understandable. Drinks came fast but food took over an hour. We weren't in a rush so we didnt mind but if you're hungry it's a long wait. The music was great until someone in the bar requested a change. Other than that great food and drinks!

I had potentially the worst brunch experience of my life. It took the staff 45 minutes to simply bring our table water and take our order, and another hour for our food to arrive, cold, and partly cooked. The dishes were laden with butter, cream, and cheese, and was overall unappetizing. Maybe it was because we were seated in a poorly populated section of the restaurant, maybe they were understaffed, but the service was unacceptably poor and the food was just plain bad. I've had decent experiences with them for dinner, but even then the service was slow and the food was too greasy. Pass.

So great. We have gone here a few times and the service and food is always amazing. So many vegetarian options to choose from (the mock chicken is awesome), great apps (avocado fries are great) and the poutines are fantastic. They also have great cocktails, and the service is friendly! Highly recommend.

Really nice restaurant in the plateau area. Service was fast and very friendly. Decor inside has a nice bar feel and there's a great terrasse In the back. Food is pretty good also but a little pricy for what you get in my opinion. Great place to bring a date or have a few drinks with friends. :)

AMAZING service! GREAT food! I absolutely recommend it for omnivors, vegetarians and vegans. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it is absolutely worth it! :)

A brunch that has a delicious tofu scramble and veggie sausage option... what’s not to love?!Also the $3 mimosas are pretty sweet too.

It was a hot summer day, and this place looked nice from the outside. Seated quickly, we were there for over 20 minutes without water or anyone to discuss our orders. After watching a waiter pass by our table multiple times, we finally flagged him down. He offered to come back but never did. The bartender stepped in to take our orders, and finally brought us tap-tasting water in a glass jug which was luke WARM. Craving something cold, I eventually went to him for some ice, which he gave me with a funny look as if I’d asked for something ridiculous.We were for there about another 45 minutes and our appetizer had not even arrived. Hungry and tired of waiting, we weren’t sure how much longer it would be for that or our main meal. We went to the bartender to tell him we were leaving, dissatisfied.His reaction… none. He didn’t provide any comfort, and literally– I kid you not– stomped off to the kitchen. Not a word more.Do NOT recommend this place.

Poor customer service and VERY slow. This was 2nd time thinking the first time was maybe a bad night. But reading the reviews I noticed a trend. They are very quick to seat you but then forget about you. I had to hail the waiter multiple times so the barman ended up taking our orders. They served us hot water straight from the tap. On a hot summer day, no ice. We proceeded to order the fried avocados as an appetizer and our main courses. 45 minutes later still no appetizers and nothing. Not even a little checking in from the waiter. After I got up and said we were leaving instead of being apologetic the guy just rudely walks out on us. Its a shame because the menu looked real good too bad we didn't see any of that food.

I celebrate my birthday with a group of friends at L'Gros Luxe. They took real good care of us and everyone loved their food. My vegan friends especially enjoyed L'Gros Luxe vegan menu. Will definitely go back.

Comfort food in a cozy setting on Ave Duluth

Was disappointed and embarrassed as I had brought clients in from out of town on our last visit to be served food which had been dried out under the heat lamps for god knows how long. The poutine and other dishes were soggy, chewy and cold. As a vegan it's sad to have to cross one more resto off of the list of places where I can and want to eat at but that was the last time at L'Gros Luxe for me

Good looking menu but unfortunately they did not deliver/execute. Fish and chips were soft/wet. Music was too loud.

The food was great but I only had mine served after my friends almost finished eating. Nobody checked in halfway if we needed anything more. Had a rushed feeling and it could have been better.

Top notch gastropub chain in Montreal.

It took 30 min to serve their ceasars with deep fried items, and took them 1h30 to serve a poutine benedict for a small group. the restaurant was half empty and nobody was receiving anything from the kitchen in a while... Food was good though

This restaurant has a wide variety of options, including a good selection of vegetarian options. Included are a whole variety of burgers, sandwiches, Poutine, Mac n cheese, and even fish n chips (though we were not recommended this dish).I ordered the deluxe burger with sweet potato fries. The "deluxe" added fillings such as bacon, onion rings, cheese curds, and a BBQ sauce. The burger came out really tall and needed a fair amount of squashing before I could fit it into my mouth comfortably. Nonetheless, this was a good burger.Amongst the many drink options, you can get jugs of sangria which are good to share. Just be careful of the large amount of ice in the jugs that can splatter sangria around as you pour.The service we had was attentive and helpful, with the food service being a little on the slow side but still fine.

To all the vegans/vegetarians out there, be careful when you order something. I ordered the El Veggie burrito from the vegetarian menu and I got a burrito with actual pork.. I didn’t realize until I got the receipt. Maybe I should have been clearer that I didn’t want real meat in my burrito even though I ordered from the vegetarian menu? I don’t know. Nevertheless, the service was excellent, the staff was lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. I just.... wish I didn’t eat that burrito.

Waited 20mins in the restaurant without being able to receive info on wait time. Finally got told we'd have to wait another 30mins even though we were only 2 and there was no one ahead of us in the line. It would have been nice to be advised of this ahead time.

A friendly atmosphere and fun menu make for a pleasant, relaxed dinner. The menu could use some pictures since the food is a little peculiar (but fun!). Great place for a beer with friends. Recommended.
